And, regarding happyness:
Watching The Pursuit of Happyness with Marty, I thought, This is the kind of movie where he will win, in the end. He has to. And other movies, I know I have thought, The end is going to be bad. And I will just have to sit here and take it.
But this one, I stay with it. No matter how many rotten, demoralizing things happen to him, he’s in that kind of movie. It will get worse and worse but in the end, it will all come together. It will be worth it. He will be lifted up, and so will we.
It’s not what’s going on now. It’s not what you’re going through now. It’s what kind of movie you’re in. I know what kind of movie I’m in. What kind of movie do you want to be in?
I’m pretty sure… we get to pick.

Help

Great insight: I am “pretty sure we get to pick” what kind of movie we are in. I am twice your age, so I can say with certainty, we get do in fact get to pick the kind of movie we are in, not only that we do pick, and we can change it if we don't like it.
Long time ago I was in a bad, boring movie. I knew I was a better actress than this movie was letting me be. In fact, I am a STAR. So I picked a better movie. It is so good, I barely have time to go to the picture show for entertainment!
Have you picked a good movie to be in?
That makes me really happy! I think my movie is turning out pretty awesome so far. We're right in the middle where it's looking scary but you KNOW something incredible is going to happen… :P
